«Stargate (スターゲート) SGB Enhanced» is a hack of Stargate (スターゲート) (Game Boy). This hack adds both custom palette and custom border making this game FULL compatible with the Super Game Boy peripheral.

«Stargate (スターゲート)» began as a Game Boy conversion for «Stargate (スターゲート)» on SNES and Mega Drive, but in the end a puzzle game was made that had nothing to do with the platform/action games on the 16-bit consoles and ended up being a monochrome version of its namesake on the Game Gear. This hack aims to improve the player experience by bringing the game closer to the original development of the same as a Game Boy adaptation of «Stargate (スターゲート) (SNES / Mega Drive)».

To do so, the game uses the tiles and color palettes from the games «Stargate (スターゲート)» (SNES / Mega Drive). This patch can be applied directly on this ROM: “Stargate (USA, Europe)”.

The following video is a complete playthrough of the game from start to finish.
